A two hour, fully-resourced PSHE lesson all about making responsible personal hygiene and health choices. This lesson covers vaccinations, blood and organ donation, stem cell research and personal hygiene. Students will investigate the importance of all of these factors for both preventing the spread of disease and treating illnesses in others. They will also exam the moral implications behind ideas such as stem cell research and learn a bit about the science behind these too (although this is not a science lesson, it is a PSHE lesson). The lesson encourages students to reflect on their own diverse backgrounds and consider how they treat those different to themselves. It is created as part of a KS2 British Values scheme of work. It is fully editable, engaging and very easy to follow.
